Frontend Web Developer

We are looking for a Frontend Web Developer to join our team! Ideal candidates would exhibit strong problem solving skills, a passion for great work and a desire to work on a team.

The Frontend Web Developer Will:

• Lead and participate in the frontend development of multiple interactive websites & digital solutions

• Collaborate with Senior Developer on development projects to adhere to internal best practices and standards 

• Work with content and user experience team members to develop new assets and improve existing ones

• Develop and translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences specific to client needs 

• Develop templates based on design guidelines

• Troubleshoot any and all issues with websites, hosting, plugins, etc.

• Optimize and improve functionality of client facing and internal websites

• Participate and follow the web development team workflow

When Considering Candidates, We Look For:

• Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, Invision, Marvel or Sketch

• Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision

• Experience with programming languages such as HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript ES2015, PHP, SQL, GIT, jQuery, CSS Frameworks, and React 

• Experience developing with WordPress, HubSpot CMS, SquareSpace, BigCommerce, Shopify, Webflow and other open source content management systems 

• Experience with project management software such as Zoho Projects, TeamWork, Trello, Asana, Monday or WorkFront 

• Experience with hosting providers such as WP Engine, FlyWheel, Netlify, AWS, etc. 

• Experience working in a collaborative development workflow using virtual development environments, version control systems, and command line interface to support the deployment and maintenance of web projects

• Proven knowledge of web-based design trends, patterns, usability, optimization and best practices

• Strong organizational skills 

• Demonstrates strong problem solving ability

• Demonstrates an aptitude for learning new software 

• Great communication  and listening skills

• Enjoys a collaborative team environment

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience working with code management tools like GitHub/Bitbucket, etc.

• Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles 

• Experience with common design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma

• Agency experience
